Mr. John Ray Lowman, 52, of Connelly Springs, passed away at his home on November 1, 2019. John was born April 14, 1967, in Burke County to Roy Lee Lowman and Jeffie Arnold Lowman. He was a member of East Valdese Baptist Church. John enjoyed landscaping and gardening and always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Deanna Lowman; children, Cobey Lee Lowman, Corey Ray Lowman, and Haley Renee Lowman; grandchildren, Connor Lowman, Olivia Lowman, and Mason Lowman; sister, Crystal Passmore and husband William; and nephew, Jeffrey Passmore. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at East Valdese Baptist Church with Pastor Greg Klapp officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at East Valdese Baptist Church.
