My last memory of Jimmy was at graduation. I sat between Jimmy and Charles, and they had me cracking up the entire time. He was in my homeroom class since I returned to NC in the 6th grade.
How many smiles and chuckles did Jimmy give me in High School...too many to count. I was unaware that he had passed, rarely have I encountered a smile that can light up a space as quickly as his!!! He is definately one of the top 10 reasons High School was so memorable!
I use to ride to HS with Jimmy some and will never forget the song "Burning down the house" by the Talking Heads blaring. I always thinnk of him when I hear this song and I will never forget the good times we had, He always had kind words and was so fun to be around. I remember visiting him at the hospital and that was hard to do. But the most memorable thing about that day was he wanted some livermush. We had been to breakfast with his sister who was in from Colorado and we took him some. Think of you often Jimmy.
