Mr. Randy Dean Toney, 50, of Morganton, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at CHS-BR Morganton, following a period of declining health. 
Randy was born on September 5, 1967 in Catawba County to Larry L. Toney and Mozelle Shuford Toney. He was employed as a landscaper and formerly attended East Valdese Baptist Church. 
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his two children, Christopher Toney and wife Charli of Glen Alpine, and Amber Toney of Valdese. Also surviving are his siblings, one sister, Brenda Turner of Connelly Springs and a brother, Carroll Toney of Mountain View, and two grandchildren, Landon and Ryleigh Toney. 
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service with Rev. Eric James officiating. 
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
